We are part of a North American cooperative that includes over 200 clinics. Acupuncture is traditionally practiced in a community setting in China, and we are proud to take acupuncture back to its roots. Affordable acupuncture is a powerful tool: it relieves pain and stress, empowers you to take control of your own health, and builds stronger communities. We love community acupuncture because it makes it easy for you to get treated whenever you want, to feel comfortable rather than isolated, and to create a collective energetic field with the people around you, making individual treatments more powerful and effective.

Welcome to our community. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

We are located in the Powderhorn Park neighborhood of south Minneapolis. Find the Community Acupuncture clinic closest to you here.

Southpoint works to create a safe and comfortable environment for all members of our community and we do not discriminate based on race, national origin, religion, age, height, weight, education, social class, language, ability, marital status, gender identity, sexual orientation, medical diagnosis, or any other factor. We will not judge you or tell you how to live your life.

Our Commitment:

We want to make it possible for you to receive acupuncture regularly enough and long enough to get better and stay better. We want our space to be welcoming to all different kinds of people. We want to give you the tools to take care of your own health so that you will not need to rely on costly, high-tech interventions. We will provide a safe environment and skilled practitioners.

The community acupuncture movement has generated enormous amounts of goodwill, support, and appreciation from patients and practitioners. Our cooperative structure is a means to channel and leverage all of that “social capital” into practical structures that can increase and sustain clinics and grow Community Acupuncture as a movement. As a member of the People’s Organization of Community Acupuncture, you can invest your time into the cooperative; the return on your investment is that more people get more affordable acupuncture.

Would you like to support our clinic? We have several volunteer opportunities available: One-time maintenance tasks, hanging flyers around town/your workplace/school/etc., front desk reception, cleaning, annual plant care (re-potting, fertilizing, etc.), or something else you have to offer?
