About Us
Welcome! At Southpoint we offer comfortable, individualized acupuncture treatments in a cozy community setting for all kinds of ailments: from back pain to insomnia; from headaches and indigestion to everyday stress and more. Our sliding scale is $25 – $45* per treatment; pay what works for you with no questions asked. There is a one-time additional fee of $10 at your first visit. Welcome to our community. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
We at Southpoint work hard to create a safe and comfortable environment for all members of our community and do not discriminate based on race, national origin, religion, age, weight, education, social class, language, ability, gender identity, sexual orientation, medical diagnosis, or any other factor. We will not judge you or tell you how to live your life.
As a community clinic we are happy to offer a number of reduced rate ($12-$24 sliding scale) appointments, as well as a number of pre-paid “pay-it-forward” treatments, with an emphasis on supporting access to acupuncture for Black, Indigenous, People of Color, Disabled, and/or Trans community members. Our Commitment:
We want to make it possible for you to receive acupuncture regularly enough and long enough to get better and stay better. We want our space to be welcoming to all different kinds of people. We want to give you a tool to take care of your own health to use in whatever way you like. We will provide a safe environment and skilled practitioners.
JESSICA (she/they)
Jessica is currently the only acupuncturist at Southpoint. She is licensed by the MN Medical Board (Lic. #1444) and certified by the NCCAOM. She finished acupuncture school in 2007 and after a short stint on a cruise ship spa started working at Southpoint in 2009. It turns out she loves living in Minneapolis and doing acupuncture so she keeps showing up.
